Finding out that you have been diagnosed with cancer is a traumatic event. It is difficult to process and takes a while to get used to the fact that you are definitely not immortal. While trying to get used to all aspects of what having cancer really means, you are still around people that are just becoming aware of your newly born fate.

Many people say that “Cancer is a gift.” I have read and heard numerous times that it is also a blessing.
